My Opinion about BookPal

May 16, 2013

My Opinion about BookPal

Authored by: Kieran Shaw

With BookPal's special systems of publishing Hard copies and eBooks to global distributors, The business is fast-becoming one of the largest self-publishers online.

A friend of a friend who is a writer, introduced me to BookPal. I was told that for a little bit of money my book will be published plus be marketed on different media platforms. I have my uncertainties at first, because I was scammed many times by other self announced "self publishing companies" but then I decided to trust my friend and decided to give BookPal the chance.

I bought the Diamond Package and paid it in installment. The total was $6960 and I was just paying roughly $1900 a month. I know it sounds and looks a lot of money but for what the firm offer, this is a bargain.

For the Diamond package, that is their package with more features, Bookpal will create a cover design for your book, typeset and lay it out for you, create different layouts for several reading platforms; such as tablets like the Kindle, or even a normal book and even create posters and brochures dedicated to your work. They will also create and maintain websites and blogs dedicated to your book and issue pr releases to the Australian press to get as much promotion as possible.

Amazon, Bookdepository and Barnes and Noble are believed to be one of the largest on-line book stores, your book will be accessible to these book stores. They'll sell it as an ebook and they also can sell hard copies in the same circulation without any extra expense. Is that a good deal or what?

When my work was launched it was through a form of eBook, Bookpal's team worked 24/7 to get it done. In a span of 1 week, my work was readily available through Thousands of on-line sellers. My work also got critiques from some large review internet sites and newspapers.

The Print on Demand (POD) system that BookPal uses, have printed a lot of paperback copies and distributed them to world-wide retailers. POD was created by Bookpal to help authors cut costs, this enables authors to order books only when required. The best thing about this system is, it enables printing even down to a single book. This elminates the need to print a batch of thousand books which might or might not sell. I saved $10,000 on printing costs, aint this a wonderful sytem!?.

I also had the opportunity to talk to their customer service, I was a bit unclear about their features and opted to clarify it with a representative. I was greeted by a friendly customer support representative, who answered all my questions at ease. They did not waste time and answered all my issues.

To conclude, Bookpal fulfilled everything that I needed a self publisher to be - my book was published, marketed and sold in an effective and fantastic manner and I saw a 83% increase in profits in the first two weeks alone. I have to recommend Bookpal to all authors who require to self publish - you will not be sorry!

Bookpal's official website can be found here: www.bookpal.com.au
